Creative Children's Author
As a children's author, I have a duty to deliver honest, safe, and meaningful stories for children to read and listen to.
I am enthusiastic about crafting simple yet thoughtful children's literature, drawn from true-life events and situations. I believe in realism and the mindful generation of dialogue between the reader and the read, allowing children to think, 'I did that when I was your age,' or 'We had one of those in our house.'
I believe that children should embark on a journey, absorbing and reflecting on the stories being read to them. They should be able to immerse themselves safely and enthusiastically in the situations presented on each page.
I think that books about 'Electric Hedgehogs,' 'Religious Dinosaurs,' or 'Golfing mad Teddy bears' often end up being read in haste by parents, grandparents, or guardians—just a quick, 'Page one, two, miss a few. Nighty-night, sleep tight,' leaving them back downstairs before the adverts have finished. In many cases, I believe these stories merely tick a box for adult readers, who then feel a sense of 'duty fulfilled.' 'I’m a good person; I’ve read to my charges; now then, what’s next in my busy life?'
I encourage everyone to take time to read with their charges; discuss what you see and hear, and learn from each other.
I hope that my commitment to clarity, authenticity, realism, and creativity ensures that the readers' voices can shine through. I strive to make the writing and reading process enjoyable, memorable, and productive.

LL Children may grow up to become parents, and parents to grandparents, yet no matter how many years pass, beyond the front door of "Grandma's House," there will always be a timeless welcoming smile, an enduring embrace of security, and an eternal warmth of serenity. These cherished moments are featured in engaging children's literature, where stories for children capture the fond and lasting memories made at "Grandma's House."
